On Tuesday 4th October 2011, The Confucius
Institute at the University of Glasgow will be launched in partnership with Nankai
University, with support from The Scottish Government and the Chinese Ministry
of Education’s office for Chinese Language (Hanban). The longstanding
relationship between the University of Glasgow and Nankai University has provided
a strong foundation based on the extensive research by the University of
Glasgow in the arts, business and social sciences of China.
